We are currently revising our Kith’takharos setting and adventures. Before we started this project at the end of last December, we had to make some hard choices or be overwhelmed by the work. I initially thought there would be some arguments, but we both realized that compromises were needed. We quickly agreed on a plan.
- Update the Savage Worlds adventures to conform with the recent release of Savage worlds Deluxe. This also allows us to take advantage of all we have learned while playing Savage Worlds over the last three years.
- Convert the OGL 3.5 adventures to Pathfinder.
- Eventually introduce Print-on-Demand and ebooks.
Something had to give. We could not add more work with Print-on-Demand and ebooks without giving up something. That something will be the Fantasy Grounds versions of our adventures. There is a sad aspect to this, because we began creating Fantasy Grounds adventures four years ago and had so much hope for that path. Nowadays, we don’t use Fantasy Grounds much and it is not providing a sufficient return on our effort. The products currently for sale at the Fantasy Grounds store will remain, but we have removed the Fantasy Grounds modules from our web site and RPGNow.
I expect the revised versions of our first two adventures, Well Met in Kith’takharos and The Missing Harvesters, will appear within the next two weeks.
